Bloom's mother holds charity sale
The mother of actor Orlando Bloom plans to clear out some of his possessions so she can raise money for charity. Sonia Copeland-Bloom said she decided to sell items because they were taking up too much room in her Kent home. She wants to raise funds for the £25.6m redevelopment of the Marlowe Theatre and a number of other charities.
Items that are going up for grabs include a wetsuit Bloom used while filming the Lord of the Rings in New Zealand and movie memorabilia.
Collins film outfit sold
Liam Neeson's outfit in the film Michael Collins sold for almost 10 times its expected value in an auction of movie memorabilia. The lot, including the long green military coat with brass buttons, leather belt and gun holsters, along with other garments worn by the Ballymena-born actor, was expected to sell for around £350 (€400). George Lucas Exhibit at Space Center Houston
This Memorial Day weekend in Texas, Space Center Houston opens the Cinema of George Lucas special exhibit. The display will feature nearly 50 awards and movie memorabilia from the STAR WARS epic, the INDIANA JONES saga, WILLOW, HOWARD THE DUCK and others.

Props, costumes, posters, photos and other Hollywood memorabilia brought in $4.2 million at Profiles in History's spring auction, the auction house said.
Among the top items sold were Harrison Ford's blaster and costume from "Blade Runner"; an original 1931 "Frankenstein" movie poster; "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" mask; and Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze costume from "Batman & Robin."
